Idris Elba's wife Sabrina has opened up about her biggest regret she has from attending the wedding of Meghan Markle and six years ago. The 35 year old met the acclaimed actor in 2017 and found herself at the grand nuptials just a year later, an event that was watched by around 750 million people worldwide as the couple exchanged vows at St George's Chapel in Windsor. Idris, who is 52, received an invitation to the wedding from Prince Harry himself after they had met "a couple of times, through his dad", which even led to Idris being asked to DJ at the reception.

During her chat on the Walking the Dog podcast with Emily Dean, Sabrina shared that she never anticipated being a guest at such a high-profile wedding. She recounted receiving a barrage of text messages from friends exclaiming: "Oh my god, I did not think I would be at that wedding. I kept telling myself it wouldn't be that big of a deal and then I had like 100 text messages saying, 'oh my god, we can see you on the telly'.

" She reflected on the incredible experience, saying: "Everybody watched that, you can kind of remember where you were when that happened and I was like, 'what am I doing here? ' But I had the best time, they're such good people." For the Sussexes' special day, Sabrina donned a Gucci coat dress.
