England cricket legend Andrew Flintoff is resurrecting one of Birmingham's best-loved TV institutions - just in time for Christimas. ITV has confirmed the return of Bullseye with the former Top Gear presenter as the host. The 46-year-old will present a Christmas special of the iconic game show, originally made by ATV in Birmingham and fronted by comedian Jim Bowen from 1981 to 1995.

Flintoff said: "I love the darts and Bullseye was one of my favourite shows as a kid. Can't quite believe I'll get to host this Christmas special." He also gave a nod to the legendary host, adding: "You can't beat a bit of Bully!" Flintoff TV appearances have been limited since a serious incident during a Top Gear filming session in 2022 that resulted in facial and rib injuries at Dunsfold Aerodrome's test track.
