There was good news earlier this year for fans of hit 00s sitcom Green Wing , and that good news might be about to become great news. The Channel 4 series started back in 2004 and ran for two seasons before coming to an end in 2007, and is widely celebrated as one of the greatest British sitcoms of all time. Green Wing revolves around the lives of the staff at East Hampton Hospital , a fictional medical centre in which unusual and surreal incidents frequently occur.

It starred the likes of Tamsin Greig, Olivia Colman , Steve Mangan, and Mark Heap – the stars of whom continued to rise once the series had concluded. After returning as a six-part radio show through Amazon’s Audible audiobook and podcast service, Green Wing could be about to jump back onto TV.
