Thursday, August 29, 2024 Iceland Travel, the longest-established DMC in Iceland, has partnered with Travel Uni to introduce a new training portal for travel agents in the UK and North America. This initiative aims to enhance agents’ selling skills and product knowledge, focusing on guided and self-drive experiences. Set to launch on 9 September, the platform will initially cater to agents in Canada, the UK, and the US, with plans to expand to France and Italy.
The Iceland Travel Specialist Training course, developed in collaboration with Travel Uni, offers agents access to exclusive resources to boost their Iceland Travel product sales. These include updated videos, webinars, and other materials not available on the main website. Agents who complete the course will receive a certification.
The program also provides access to brochures, maps, and roadbooks in English, French, and Italian. Additionally, Iceland Travel offers 24-hour assistance, an app with helpful information on tour areas, and a self-drive calculator tool for creating tailored packages..
