"We had a lot of shoppers as well as architects and designers within our space here at Kingston enjoying how they interact with our displays in a very aspirational and lifestyle manner," Winnings group design manager Kate McGlone said. "And they started suggesting that this would be a useful way for the retail space to expand into other categories. That was the first sort of stepping plan for us to land in this spot.

While the brand's flagship Redfern store has overtaken the Kingston space in size, Ms McGlone said the large footprint made it possible to extend the offerings.
