The left lanes of Interstate 95 south in Triangle have reopened following a police chase that ended near Joplin Road in Triangle late Wednesday night. The right lanes remained blocked as of 6:30 a.m.
, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation. All southbound lanes were closed overnight and a detour was in place from Route 234 following the pursuit. Virginia State Police have not yet released any information on the incident, but witnesses reported seeing the chase, and some had near misses with the fleeing driver.
