Although it might only be September John Lewis has opened its Christmas shop. We went along to the Cardiff store in the city centre to check out the new range and get into the Christmas spirit, because it's never too early, right? As usual, there are a few different themes available from John Lewis. This year there are four themes each with a different style; Sugar and Spice, Dawn and Dusk, Wisdom and Wonder, and Trinket and Treasure.
My two favourites were Sugar and Spice - a theme of retro nostalgia with lots of pink, including disco balls and sequin stockings, and travel-inspired Trinket and Treasure with its twine baubles and painted glass. BOOKED UP: Shoppers already booking up Christmas food slots at supermarket DON'T MISS: The amazing Christmas events you can book now in Wales However, this did not make picking my favourites any easier. Sugar and Spice and Trinket and Treasure are the more fun and colourful ranges with quirky designs.
Highlights include the adorable acrylic gingerbread man led lit figures for £35, they are so sweet, and the sugar & spice disco ball cherries tree decoration. You can just imagine your Christmas tree lights reflecting off the disco ball design casting and darting flashes of light across your room. Simply gorgeous.
You can buy the decoration, here. I also love the tennis ball bauble, what is better to hang on the Christmas tree than a glittery tennis ball? It is very fun and unique and you can buy it, here. Find out about the latest event.
