Dog-friendly restaurant chain Megan's has taken the south by storm, with a flurry of openings across towns in the last four years. there are three locations in and around Surrey, including Guildford, Surbiton and most recently, Weybridge . As a lover of kebabs and Mediterranean food, I had to visit this new restaurant.

Since its opening at the beginning of August, the restaurant has been packed, with limited availability for bookings. Already the eaterie has a 4.9-star rating , with 263 Google reviews, reflecting its popularity with customers.

As I decided to visit on a whim, I didn’t make a booking but I did manage to secure a walk-in table for myself and my friend. We were sat right at the front of the restaurant, on comfy chairs. However, the armchair my friend was sitting in was so low to the ground that we had to steal some cushions from the empty bench next to us so she wasn’t peering over the table.

It has a cosy and relaxed atmosphere while being quietly luxurious. Service started off attentive and friendly , however, it is a shame this wasn’t the case throughout the evening.
