Over the last few weeks, Essex has been treated to some glorious sunshine. It's been a standard English summer with warm temperatures sandwiched between torrential downpours. But when the sun is out, there is nothing more tempting than an ice-cream.

That's even more so the case when making a trip to the beach. Essex's beautiful sunshine coast provides plenty of opportunities to have a day trip to the beach whether alone, with your partner, friends, or family. I've lived in Essex for pretty much all my life.
