I tried on several Roman dresses and bought two that were super flattering on my tummy On a recent shopping trip I decided to pop into my local Roman store after seeing a selection of gorgeous dresses in the window. I wasn't after anything in particular, however I ended up trying on several colourful dresses in different styles that could be worn to any occasion. Some of the dresses were part of Roman's summer sale, with big discounts being offered.

While all of the dresses I tried on were pretty and fit me well (I'm a size 14), I ended up purchasing two that made me feel comfortable and confident thanks to them covering a few problem areas I have. I'm quite self-conscious of my tummy and the tops of my arms, so I tend to pick dresses that have sleeves and don't cling to my stomach. Thankfully the two dresses I chose were super flattering on my tummy and both have short sleeves, so the tops of my arms are hidden.

Although it's described as red on the Roman website, the hue is more of a vibrant orange. The dress is available in sizes 10 to 20 and usually costs £45, however I got it in the sale for £25, and it's currently still available.
