I used to watch Mrs Hinch disinfecting her loo before she appeared on This Morning . Since then, I have watched her Instagram account grow, and not to mention her family and home. I have followed the cleaning addict as she scoured her way into my heart with her down-to-earth approach to life and love of all things beige (it used to be grey).

She has many tips and tricks I have loved and used over the years but one 10p trick makes my home smell amazing. Before saying goodnight to her kitchen, Mrs Hinch would pour a cap of Zoflora in the sink and pour boiling water from the kettle over it. Not only does this give the sink and pipe a good hot clean, as Zoflora promises to kill 99% of bacteria and viruses, but it also allows the beautiful, fresh fragrance to fill the kitchen for hours later.

When Zoflora sent me some of their 'sweetpea' range, I couldn't wait to test it out. All you need to do is after you have finished the dishes and have cleaned your sink out, pour a cap (you don't even need a full cap as it is very concentrated) of disinfectant around the basin rather than straight down the plughole. Then, I used the extra boiling water in my kettle left over from making a brew, because someone is always making tea in our house, and poured that carefully around the basin and into the plughole, reports the Mirror .

And that's it, and this means when you wake up in the morning, your house smells of fresh flowers, sweetpeas in my case. Take care not to put more than a capful of Z.
