Makeup lovers across the nation have let out a collective sigh of relief after a scientist conducted an experiment on a seven-year old eyeshadow . A TikTok user, known as @the_lab_life1, shared a video of her testing an Urban Decay palette, sparking huge anticipation for the results and racking up almost six million views from beauty enthusiasts. "I know its from 2017 because I got it for prom," she began her clip.
In the clip, @the_lab_life1 is then seen swabbing each of the six shades in her Naked bronze palette with a cotton bud, before transferring the samples onto two Petri dishes to let science do its work. After a 24-hour incubation period in the fridge the results were in - and to the relief of many there was no bacterial growth detected in the dishes.
