'I stayed at UK's cheapest hotel for £6 a night and was stunned by what I found'

A YouTuber who specialises in hotel reviews was “shocked” when he stayed in what must be the UK’s cheapest hotel – because it was so surprisingly good. Scott, who documents his travels on his Wandering Wiganer channel, booked himself a double room for £6 per person (£12 for the night) at Blackpool’s Highbury Hotel. In a YouTube video titled '£6pp The UK's Cheapest Hotel Blackpool', hee says you’re guaranteed a “cheap and cheerful” experience.

There were £6 worth of tea and coffee provided, so he'd got his money back right there, along with plenty of good quality loo roll and several “stealable” clothes hangers.
