W Hotel is set to operate the luxury hotel at Gary Neville’s £400m St Michael’s development in Manchester city centre. With its distinct, spiral design, W Edinburgh’s main building seeks to provide the perfect vantage point from which to take in the city’s most famous landmarks (Image: Manchester Evening News) Confirmed last October, the construction of the 162-key hotel is already underway and the property is expected to open in early 2027 within the 41-storey tower.
