A woman has revealed how she earns thousands of pounds extra a year and goes on luxury holidays - all by selling clothes on Vinted. The clothes reselling app helped the 22-year-old cover her bills during lockdown, and now earns her plenty of extra cash. Molly Williams, an office planner from Leicester, started selling her old clothes on Vinted in 2020 after seeing an advert for the app online and thinking it was time to downsize her wardrobe, which had overtaken her spare room.

But what started with selling a few items for a couple of quid has spiralled, and Molly now earns between £200 and £300 a month on top of her salary. To begin with, Molly used the extra cash to help pay her bills and living costs as she was earning under £20,000 a year and was struggling to get by. But since getting a pay rise at work, Molly has been able to treat herself with her extra cash to a week-long trip to Paris, a designer handbag, and meals out with friends.
