A woman has been left questioning her morals after she refused to share her snacks with a hungry child on a plane . She explained how she was travelling home from a holiday when she was seated next to a mum and her young son. She noticed how the mum ate her way through her own snacks and her son's before turning to her with a request.

Speaking on Reddit , she said: "The flight attendant came around and gave everyone a drink and a bag of goldfish and a biscuit. I ate my biscuit however I wanted to keep my goldfish in case I got hungry later on in my trip (flight was short). "The mum next to me then is like my son is hungry can he have your goldfish.

" She says in "normal circumstances" she would have happily given up her snacks for the youngster - but she decided against it after hearing the mum's tone. "I saw her eat her son's pack and [her's]. And second, this lady was taking up a lot of my seat too (she honestly should have been required to buy two seats).

She just was super entitled, like the way she asked me too was more of a demand than an ask." With that, she explained how she was saving them for later - but the mum wasn't happy with this answer. She added: "She then gets loud to where other people can hear us, and is like my child is hungry and you aren’t sharing the food you don’t even want to eat.

I then pointed out mam, you ate your son’s goldfish." Annoyed, she snapped back: "Do you even want these for your son or are you going to eat these too?" Wanting no mo.
