A buttery bacon roll is a tasty way to start the day, but many of us can be reluctant to cook bacon as no one wants to deal with oil splattering everywhere or cleaning a greasy pan afterwards. It may seem obvious to cook bacon in a pan but I have found it makes the bacon less crispy as it leads to it sitting in oil for too long, leaving soggy and charred bacon that does not taste very good. However, after some experimenting, I discovered that the best way to cook bacon is to ditch the frying pan and simply cook the bacon in the oven.

Cooking bacon in the oven ensures that the heat is evenly distrib.
