‘I laughed so hard my wife threatened to divorce me’ – Rick O’Shea’s favourite funny books

I went to see Kneecap in the cinema a couple of weeks ago. It’s a fantastic reality-based comedy about the eponymous West Belfast hip-hop group. They all play themselves, most of the film is as Gaeilge, it’s sharp, fast, and the soundtrack is cracking (as is their new album). It’s also very, very funny. Don’t worry, Mr Editor, I’m not angling for a film review column — bear with me.
