A LOVER'S quarrel has gone too far after one man didn't stand up for his spouse. She and her husband decided to have dinner at his buddy's house, who he hasn't known for very long. Sitting around the table with their 10-month-old son in her lap, they shared photos from their wedding, where the wife was pregnant. "I was 37 weeks pregnant and had gained 35 pounds at that point," she said of her wedding day.
"The friend looks at a photo and says, 'Oh gross what happened to you? Your face is so fat. You look like a fat turkey.'" The wife tried to explain what happens to a woman's body during pregnancy to no avail.
"He wasn't interested in listening and just went on laughing and repeating similar insults," she said. "I looked at my husband and he just laughed along with him."
