Speaking to The U.S. Sun, she revealed the products and tools she swears by for nurturing curly tresses.

GRATEFUL FOR GRANDMA Robu said both of her parents have thick hair but most of her family members prefer to keep their locks short. She said seeing her mom and dad in their 60s has shown that genetics plays a key role in the thickness of her own locks. “My grandma had beautiful curly hair in her 80s, and I am so lucky to have inherited her gorgeous curls,” she said.

“My parents credit the health of their hair to good nutrition and are always ready to share health recommendations. “They’ve tried to keep straighteners away from me and my brothers and reinforced the idea that our natural hair is beautiful, which I’m very thankful for.” WONDERFUL WASHES Robu said she doesn’t need to wash her curls more than once every five to six days.
