A WOMAN has left social media users open-mouthed with her epic living room makeover on the cheap. Facebook user Kelly Marie explained that she had grown to hate her living room so much, she didn't dare to go in it for several months after repainting it one day. ''Yesterday I woke up sick to death of my living room being cold all the time.

''A year ago I decided to get rid of the grey and went for blue and from the moment I did it I regretted it. ''I hadn’t sat in here for a good eight months,'' she told the fellow 2.2million members of the DIY On A Budget Official page.

The epic glow-up saw walls go from dark blue to a cosy cream colour, as well as getting rid of the jungle-themed wallpaper at the bottom.

During the makeover process, Kelly also ditched the family photos on the wall and replaced them with gorgeous hanging plants in pots and other decor. The navy rug in the middle, complete with a white coffee table on top, was replaced a fluffy light grey counterpart and a more modern wooden table and reed diffusers.
