A new mum has confessed to disliking her baby boy's name to the extent that she avoids saying it altogether, placing the blame squarely on her husband . In an emotional post on social media , she revealed that at three months old, she has resorted to only calling her son by a sweet-sounding nickname because his actual name is just too much for her. She posted: "I really don't like my son's name.

I hate to say it because it's not a bad name; it was just not one of my choices at all. My husband chose the name when I was around five months pregnant, and before we had a chance to really discuss it, he told his entire family that we picked a name, and everyone fell in love with it. "He's our first and I really wanted his name to be special and a team effort but I feel like he just took the joy out of it for me.

I tried to suggest other names that were similar that I liked better but he just very firm that the name felt right and 'I can name the next one if it's that big of a deal'." The mother added that since her husband had shared the name with everyone, she felt they couldn't go back on it. Additionally, she expressed her discomfort as even his middle name wasn't an option for her, being the same as her hubby's first name.

Revealing her son is named Silas, the distressed mum confessed: "I don't know what to do, his parents already got things with his name on it and my family loves his name too. I thought once he was here l'd change my mind, like I'd see him and it would just be.
