The furniture store knocked off a staggering £620.10 from the price because it was “missing some fixings”. Lauren headed to her local store on Saturday and snapped up the sofa within minutes of seeing the post on social media.

She told The Sun: “My first reaction was I need to go and get it now, I told my boyfriend and I was out the door in five minutes.” Lauren said she was “amazed” when staff showed her the luxury green sofa, and her receipt shows she only paid £68.90 for the plush couch.

She said: “It’s the best bargain I’ve ever got and I’m a big bargain hunter, it was the right place at the right time, it all happened for a reason.” The 27-year-old even found a thrifty way of getting the item back home, saving on delivery fees by wheeling it back on a trolley.
