The ITV game show has been a hit since it hit screens two years ago and sees 100 players pursuing a £100,000 prize, facing questions based on ‘logic and common sense’ rather than general knowledge. However, on the latest episode to air, which was a repeat, Lee was left in shock after discovering one of the contestants had already scooped a significant prize before.

Early in the episode, Lee spoke to some of the unlucky few who had failed to answer the first question correctly and were already out of the running. One of them was Kevin Jones, who Lee exclaimed had ‘been unlucky tonight’. ‘Are you usually unlucky?’ he questioned.

However, Kevin’s answer shocked both the host and his fellow contestants. ‘I’ve been very lucky in the past,’ he explained. After Lee asked, ‘in what respect?’, he replied: ‘I won the lottery.

’ Looking surprised, Lee questioned him further and asked whether he was a National Lottery winner. ‘I am. I won six million,’ he revealed as some people started cheering him and clapping.

‘Six million quid!?,’ Lee exclaimed, before Kevin clarified it was actually £6.1 million he’d won. Jokingly taking aim, Lee added: ‘[You wanted] another 100 grand.
