Hyundai's luxury branch, Genesis design trademark has been patented in India. This could be the first vehicle from the Korean luxury manufacturer. There has been news from quite some time that Hyundai will bring its luxury brand Genesis, into the Indian market.

Things are looking quite promising as Hyundai Genesis GV80 Coupe design patent has been trademarked in India. Here is what we know so far. The Genesis brand is the luxury wing of Hyundai and has been making some really good vehicles in recent times.

They have been praised for their technology, design and value for money proposition. in the international markets. India is a growing stage for these luxury cars and Hyundai wants a piece of that cake too.

They have been wanting to bring the Genesis brand in India for quite some time now and have trademarked the design patent of the GV80 coupe SUV. The GV80 is the largest SUV on offer in the Genesis portfolio. It was launched back in 2020 while the Coupe version was unveiled only recently in 2023 with the regular GV80’s refresh.

Internationally the GV80 is offered with a few engine options which include a 2.5L turbo-petrol four-cylinder engine, a 3.5L turbo-petrol V6 and a 3.

0L inline-six diesel engine. Design wise, the GV80 is a beautiful thing, and has the signature Genesis grille. The headlamps and taillamps are divided into slits of two and the coupe version adds to the sporty appeal of the vehicle.

On the inside, it is loaded with tech and has beautiful looking inter.
