A new firm is set to move into Ansty Park as a licensing sign has appeared nearby. On it, it explains that Jingdong Retail (UK) Limited applied to Rugby Borough Council on 9 September 2024 for a premises licence. This is in relation to Jingdong Retail (UK) Limited, which is set to be based at Apollo 6, Unit 2, Trent Way on the Prospero Ansty Park, which is based on the outskirts of Coventry.
Jingdong Retail (UK) is part of the huge Chinese online business. According to experts, Jingdong, known as JD.com, is an e-commerce platform that sells food and beverage, fashion, health, cosmetic products and jewellery and accessories.
