Starting today, Line 6 Metro in Naples begins its passenger services, extending approximately 6 kilometers and connecting eight stations across the city, including four entirely new ones. This new metro line is set to drastically reduce journey times compared to driving, significantly cutting harmful air pollution and CO2 emissions. However, from 2025 onwards, Hitachi Rail plans to introduce 22 new trains.
