The So Notorious alum shared insight into her final conversation with her Beverly Hills, 90210 costar, who died July 13 at age 53 after battling cancer for years . “I’ve had a lot of death in my life," Tori, 51, told fellow 90210 alum Jennie Garth , 52, on the July 22 episode of their podcast 9021OMG .
"I have a lot of regrets that I didn’t have that time to have a second chance to get past stuff from the past and look at all the good things and really talk it out and have that last conversation." The actress, who played Donna Martin alongside Shannen's Brenda Walsh on the '90s drama series, continued, "and I feel like she and I had that, and I’m super grateful for that.” Jennie, who played Brenda's frenemy Kelly Taylor, said that her thoughts turned to Tori after their costar's death.
"How happy you must have been to have that time with her and to have that reconnection on a deeper level, as both of you have matured and grown and learned so much," the What I Like About You star said, "I wished that I had had that opportunity because I didn't really get to sit down and have a heartfelt conversation with her recently.
