Sparks are earned by hitting certain thresholds of experience that you can earn while you play. To earn this experience, just fight and defeat enemies and have no fear, you only lose a very small amount of experience if you die, and you never lose a Spark. From there, you will see your Spark count in the center of the screen, including spent and unspent Sparks. Hold F on the keyboard, Y on the Xbox controller, or Triangle on PlayStation, and you will pull back all the Sparks that you have already spent and will be able to start all over again.If you would prefer to just refund a couple of points, you can go into the individual skill, stance, or spell node that you wish to refund and hold R on the keyboard, X on the Xbox controller, or Square on PlayStation, and that will allow you to reclaim the Spark. You can then spend the Spark on any other ability or node that you wish.There is no limit to how many times you can refund your Sparks, and it doesn't cost anything at all to do so, which is fantastic as it really allows you to experiment with builds and figure out what is right for you.Sometimes, you might want to completely change up your build to deal with a certain boss or explore a new combat technique that is very effective against a certain type of enemy.
