It comes just weeks after he announced his grand return six years after his last appearance, with his now shelved scenes set to first air in October as part of Helen Worth's exit storyline. However, as his puzzling departure remains a mystery, longtime fans will recall how at one time Sean said he'll never set foot on the cobbles again, after quitting in 2005 over a storyline which involved his character Martin seducing an underage girl.
