A hotel was left thinking a mistake had been made after two men with the same name booked the same venue and date for their marriage proposals. Woodlands Glencoe in Ballachulish noticed they had two bookings under the name for the same night and thought a suitor, in a bout of pre-proposal nerves, had accidentally made a double booking. But further investigation by the luxury lodge found that it was two separate men who had each chosen the stunning location for their big night.

Daniel, from , was one of the men who decided to pop the question to his partner of six-years, Taylor Wengenroth. The teacher opted for the 'marry me' package, with the venue upgrading the couple to a more spacious lodge and the unknowing future fiancé and fellow teacher walking into the romantic scene. Daniel spoke to Glasgow Live about the romantic day which saw him take Harry Potter fan Taylor on the Jacobite steam train, he said: "Before the proposal we had arranged to go on the Jacobite steam train leaving from Fort William travelling to Mallaig.

Taylor is a huge Harry Potter fan so she was in her element on the train from the movies thinking she was off to Hogwarts. "I couldn’t get enjoying the stunning views going over the Glenfinnan viaduct - I was really nervous - not because I thought she would say no, I just wanted it to be as special as possible for her. I was delighted when Taylor said yes.

Like I said previously I knew right away that Taylor was my soul mate. I’m not an emotional guy.
