A hospice is to plant hundreds of hand-crafted sculptures of snowdrop flowers to raise money for its care. St Richards Hospice has created the Celebration Garden, on display from Friday for the next two-and-a-half weeks at The Hive in Worcester. The garden aims to celebrate the life of lost loved ones, and those who donated to have a snowdrop in the garden will be able to take it home at the end of the installation.

Emily Gicquel said: "Supporting Celebration Garden each year helps us feel close to Mum. "We recently visited the hospice to take a stroll in its beautiful gardens and the feeling was still the same – we felt connected. "St Richard’s will always be part of our family, and when the snowdrops are all in place we’ll know there are hundreds of others who feel the same.

" The garden display will be taken down on 26 August..
