A was discovered in a shed after a dog dropped a human skull on a sidewalk in California, according to cops. The was made on Thursday morning in the area of Nicholas and Florence Avenues in downtown Fresno, California after a resident called police to report seeing a dog with a human skull. Officers were dispatched to the scene and found a decomposing body, believed to be an adult male, in a shed about a block away.

Police revealed that the dog had taken the head and walked off with it. The death does not appear to be a homicide, but officials are waiting for a cause of death determination from the coroner’s office. The shocking discovery comes after a dad was jailed for just 5 years after after starving his seven-year-old daughter to death.
