Bobcat Nation showed up in full force for the Hemingford Homecoming Football Game under the Friday night lights on Sept. 20 at Bobcat Stadium. During halftime the Bobcats and their amazing fans helped to honor the 10th and 11th anniversary of the State Champion and State Runner-up Teams.

Members and coaches of those teams showed up for the recognition and also to show their support for the current roster of Bobcats. Several members of those two teams were there as well as the coaching staff for those seasons: head coach Jordan Haas, coach Randy Hiemstra, coach Tim Hiett, and coach Taryn Wood. “Over the span of these two seasons, Hemingford football had a record of 25-1,” read Bobcat Announcer Bailey Branson.

“During the 2013 season, Bobcats averaged 56 points per victory and held their opponents to 12 points per game. During the 2014 championship, the Bobcats averaged 61 points per victory and held their opponents again to only 12 points per game. Hemingford won the 2014 State Championship game in a dominate fashion of 52 to 8 over BDS.
