Martin Roberts , the host of Homes Under the Hammer , has opened up about his health scare two years ago when he had an "emergency operation" after fluid was found around his heart. The 61-year-old TV presenter revealed to MailOnline that he still experiences "twinges" in his chest which cause him to panic. He also shared that he doesn't know "how much time" he has left but is determined to do "as much as he can" for his latest project, renovating a pub in Wales.

Recalling his conversation with the consultant who performed the procedure, Martin said: "The physical side of things took a lot longer than we thought to get around. I still get twinges and every single time I get a twinge in my chest, I panic." He added that anyone who's had issues with their heart would "attest," and explained that it "sends you into a flurry of worry" and then recalled asking the consultant who did the procedure how long he would have survived without it.
