The PS5 Pro Upgrade will go live to coincide with the launch of the new console Hogwarts Legacy is set to receive a huge update later this year to make use of the new PS5 Pro. When it was announced, Sony confirmed it had been working with a number of studios to “take advantage” of the “ most advanced and innovative console hardware to date ”.
Thirteen titles have been confirmed to receive a PS5 Pro update so far, including Horizon Forbidden West , Alan Wake 2 and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth . While the £700 price tag of the PS5 Pro has annoyed some fans, especially when the digital-only console doesn’t even come with a stand, others are excited about the improvements to ray-tracing and frame-rates. Sony’s teaser trailer didn’t really showcase the capabilities of the PS5 Pro, but a number of comparison clips between the standard version of Hogwarts Legacy and the new, upgraded version have been shared across social media and fans are impressed.
