Oahe claimed a 5-2 victory over Yankton in girls’ 14-under hockey action on Sunday at the Kiwanis 4-H Ice Center. Dakota McEnteaffer scored twice, and Aubrey Stewart and Mallory Lehrkamp each had a goal and an assist for Oahe. Ainsley Ries also scored a goal.

Payton Emme had two assists and Sonya Jundt added an assist in the victory. Mackenzie Brunick posted a goal and an assist for Yankton. Ramsey Anderson scored a goal.

Presley Eich added an assist for the Miracle. Taylah Allerdings made 12 saves in goal for Oahe. Sloane Hardy stopped 20 shots for Yankton.

Yankton travels to Huron on Saturday, Nov. 30. Start time is 11 a.

The match marked the debut of Yankton’s girls’ 14-under team. McEntaffer also had an assist for Oahe. Reagan Emme, Jaycie Jundt and Quinn Baker each had an assist for the Capitals.

Taylah Allerdings made seven saves in goal for Oahe. Mackenzie Brunick stopped 54 shots for Yankton. Bantam Yankton 7, Oahe 1 Yankton held a 38-6 edge in shots on goal in a 7-1 victory over Oahe in Bantam ‘B’ hockey action on Sunday at the Kiwanis 4-H Ice Center.

Brayden Byrkeland finished with six goals and an assist for Yankton. Payton Svanda scored a goal and Roland Marlette had an assist in the victory. Bentley Drew scored for Oahe, converting an assist from Henry Babcock.
