On June 20, Vela Toronto was the site of After the Ball in support of Boost Child & Youth Advocacy Centre (Boost CYAC), which raised $160,000 to help fund programs and services for children and youth who have experienced abuse. The inaugural event, co-chaired by Justice Faith Betty, Nia Faith Betty and Boost CYAC’s Alison Albright, brought together the next generation of young professionals and changemakers. DJ Charlie B provided the music, and guests included Toronto Maple Leafs’ Max Domi and entertainer Daniel Caesar.
