Beer lovers will be coming to Bolton from all over the country next week to toast the future of the borough’s youngsters. This comes with the return of the Bolton Beer Festival over the next week to be hosted at Wanderers home ground at the Toughsheet Community Stadium. The three-day event will feature more than 200 real ales, lagers, ciders, gins, wines and prosecco, held in aid of leading youth charity the Bolton Lads and Girls Club.

BLGC director of fundraising and communications Kelly McFadden said: “The Beer Festival has the biggest social event in the Bolton calendar, and we are delighted that we can return this year, and we look forward to welcoming everyone safely to the festival.” “The services of our charity are needed now more than ever, all the money raised will go back into the core services at the club. ” Capital Finance will be taking the headline sponsor slot for the charities event at this year’s festival. With a variety of live music and performances filling the atmosphere, the club is confident there will be a great sense of fun to be had by all those attending, in a safe environment. This year the Bolton Beer Festival boasts music from Mr Wilson’s Second Liners, and from Inspiral Carpets star Clint Boon.

The event will feature a “Boogie Bingo” event on the Thursday evening, Bolton’s answer to Bong.
