IN a city of over eight million people, a good view can make you feel on top of the world. Luckily, the highest rooftop pool in New York City is open to the public. Located between the 38th and 39th floors of the Renaissance New York Chelsea Hotel , Somewhere Nowhere offers unbeatable views of the famed New York skyline.

While guests don't necessarily have to stay at the hotel, there is an entry fee for access to the rooftop. Guests 21 years and older can make a reservation (recommended but not required) for a rooftop spot. Travelers can drop by the rooftop in the summer, starting in late May every year.

While cheaper general admission tickets to the pool cost $100 per person, the reservation only provides admission and access to the heated rooftop pool. A rooftop pool lounge seating reservation includes reserved outdoor lounge seating alongside access to the hotel's heated rooftop pool.

The pool is open for swimming Thursday through Sunday until 4:30 pm, weather permitting.
