An Aussie almost burst into tears after seeing a comment left on her food receipt that her server in didn't realise she could read. The woman was ordering dinner at a restaurant to take away when an Indonesian word on the receipt caught her eye. She took a closer look, questioning at first whether it was referencing her.

The section where it was written is usually where servers note down the diner's name to help differentiate orders, however, a "descriptor" was written instead. "She put a descriptor in Indonesian as my order name and what she didn't realise is it was on the receipt," she said on social media. "I bet you she was expecting me not to know this word in Indonesian but I knew it.

" She asked the server about the word, suggesting maybe it was a reference to themselves, but they denied it. "I go, 'Girl, you don't have to call me that'," she said, before explaining she had been referred to as Ms Cantik — Ms Beautiful. After explaining the situation in a video, many were quick to confess the story didn't go in the direction they were initially expecting but said they should have know better as Indonesian people are "the loveliest".

"I was thinking it was something rude but how stupid of me," one wrote, while another said he had recently received a receipt with 'ganteng' on it, which translates to handsome. "So kind!" one marvelled, while others agreed the description given to the Aussie was warranted. "[It] actually made my day," the woman said.
