Helldivers 2 Freedom Flame Warbond (Image: SONY) Helldivers 2 studio Arrowhead is getting ready to release a brand new Warbond, just days after this week's major new update . The Freedom's Flame Warbond has an August 8 release date on PS5 and Steam . Based on past releases, fans can expect the Warbond to drop at around 10am BST UK time.
As you can probably tell by the name, the Warbond will introduce some fiery new gameplay elements, not to mention a host of new weapons, armour, emotes and skins. This includes a pocket-sized pistol that doubles up as a short-range flamethrower. That's on top of a new pump action shotgun that unleashes a burst of incendiary phosphorus pellets.
