Helldivers 2 has been one of the best games of the year, and recently Arrowhead has brought back swarms of players who had previously deserted the battlefield. While HD2 has been one of the biggest success stories of the year, there was controversy with the whole PSN debacle. Now the Helldivers 2 developer is hopeful there will not be similar backlash over EULA changes which have some fans suspicious of Sony .

There is a lot for HD2 players to anticipate. New armor has leaked presumably for Liberty Day, and it’s believed that the arrival of the Illuminate is close. In addition, the Democracy Space Station is under construction , and it will add a new element to the multiplayer experience.

We cannot wait for the completion of the DSS and the arrival of Liberty Day, but, for right now, some players are suspect over changes to the game’s EULA. Similar to the PSN debacle, these changes are not the fault of Arrowhead, but the Helldivers 2 community manager has responded. Reddit user Additional_Pin_12 has highlighted old and new changes in their post . The biggest difference is that the old EULA reportedly said “The license grant in this section is only effective after the SIE-authorized release date of the Software. Any rights in the Software not explicitly granted to you in this license are reserved by SIE, including rights to all intellectual property”.
