Bolton actress Helen Flanagan said she “would love to go back to Coronation Street”, in a candid interview on ITV show Lorraine. Host Lorraine Kelly asked Helen if she would like to reprise her role as Rosie Webster on the soap, after she left the cobbles in 2018. Lorraine said wild child Rosie “has to come back” to the show and Helen agreed.

The 34-year-old, who went to St John's Primary School in Bromley Cross, said: “I am still in touch with Sally Dynevor [who played Helen’s mum Sally Webster]. “I would love to go back to Corrie and work near Manchester [so I can be close] to the kids. “I would like Rosie to come back with loads of kids and cause chaos and fob them off to Sally and just be wild.

The 34-year-old was trying to find love on the show, which sees celebrities go on dates with civilians to try and strike up a romantic relationship with them. She shocked dating agents on the show by dropping the shocking bombshell that she was already dating someone.

Helen revealed her boyfriend on the show and even took him on a date. He was later revealed to be Robbie Talbot, from Liverpool. Robbie now works in construction but is a former professional footballer.
