Former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan has given an update about her love life ahead of the return of Celebs Go Dating. The actress is on a quest to find the one after her 13-year relationship with footballer Scott Sinclair came to an end back in 2022. In a bid to find love again, the 34-year-old has been set up on dates through the show's dating experts Anna Williamson and Paul C Brunson, and her fate will be unveiled as the series plays out.
What we do know about Helen's journey on the show so far is that she was almost kicked off due to breaking a rule. Addressing the incident, she said: "I can't say too much because I don't want to ruin the storyline, but I don't think anything is out of character for me. I can't help it." Helen has been on dates through apps and being set up, but admits "it's been a bit of a disaster" as there are "some awful men out there". Despite this however, she isn't giving up on settling down for good and hopes for marriage one day with a "special" new man.
She told Sunday People: “’I'm definitely a romantic and want to get married one day." Should Helen make it down the aisle, the actress admits whoever it shall be will need her children's approval first. With her ex-fiancé, the ex Coronation Street star is mum to Matilda, seven, Delilah, five, and Charlie, two.
