Former Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is building a new £6million mansion in an area dubbed 'Germany's Beverly Hills'. Klopp stood down as Liverpool boss at the end of last season and has moved back to Germany with his wife Ulla so they can be closer to their family. The 57-year-old has been enjoying his time away from football, admitting when he quit Liverpool that he want to live a "normal life".

"I am still a normal guy, I just don't live a normal life for too long now," he said. "I don't want to wait until I am too old for having a normal life. I need to at least give it a try at one point to see how it is and will I miss it.

" And the The Sun are reporting that Klopp is set to move to the "No 1 celebrity street in Germany", with the property currently being built. The house will also be soundproofed, with Klopp a huge fan of heavy metal music. The report states that German pop star Helene Fischer, who has been described as the country's equivalent of Britney Spears, will be among Klopp's neighbours.

"We have seen all the sound-proofing going in," a source told the publication. "They are being incredibly thorough with the build. The new house is totally modern so we expect it to have every noise-cancelling, energy-saving feature going.

With Helen Fischer, this has got to be the No 1 celebrity street in Germany now." Klopp recently returned to football for a testimonial game at former club Borussia Dortmund in honour of club legends Jakub Blaszczykowski and Lukasz Piszczek. K.
