Heat health alert issued as summer weather set to make a return

A yellow heat health alert has been issued this week as the summer weather is set to make a return. The UK Health Security Agency has put an alert in place from 1am on Wednesday morning until 9am on Thursday. During this time, people are urged to expect some disruption to health services.

Drink plenty of cool drinks to keep hydrated." The heat alert comes after The Met Office has predicted temperatures could reach up to 23 degrees, with sunshine expected across both days. Temperatures are then expected to get hotter as the week goes on, with 26 degrees predicted on Sunday.
