Family feuds don't get much bigger than the bitter fallout between brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher. A backstage argument in the middle of a huge tour led to the pair not speaking for 15 years - and while fans have been begging for a reconciliation for years, nobody was more hurt than their beloved mum Peggy. The famous siblings last performed on stage together in Paris back in 2009.

The pair had clashed again and again, leading to Noel quitting after a final bust-up at the Rock En Seine festival in Paris. Liam wielded Noel’s guitar around “like an axe”. "He nearly took my face off with it," Noel said after that the show was cancelled, along with the rest of the tour.

Noel claimed he didn't want to leave Oasis - it was simply that he could no longer continue being in a band with his brother. They have kept far apart from each other ever since and took public jibes at each other in interviews and on social media. For her 80th birthday last year, Peggy was taken on a spa break by Liam. She reportedly told him to try and get on with Noel once again. "Peggy has told Liam to mend the rift and she is hoping there will be genuine reconciliation," a source told the Sun.
