Jayke Uzell was described as a popular young man with an infectious laugh A heartbroken mum has paid tribute to her "amazing" son with "infectious laugh" who died suddenly on Saturday. Jayke Uzell, 23, was found near Sutton Mill Dam off Mill Brow, Sutton Leach, St Helens at around 7.25am on Saturday, November 16.
Jayke was pronounced dead at the scene and his death is being treated as unexplained by Merseyside Police . Police do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances surrounding his death. Speaking to the ECHO , his mum Tracey Uzell said: "He was very popular and the number of flowers that have been left speaks volumes.
There are absolutely loads. He was a funny guy with an infectious laugh and always on his phone chatting and laughing with his friends. "He was a caring and good looking lad, he was gorgeous and he was just so loving and caring.
He had a big heart and had time for anybody and everybody. He just lit up a room, when he came in he was smiling, he was a happy man. He was just amazing, Jayke was an amazing son and he was always singing songs.
He was just a brilliant son and loved his family to bits. HIs two brothers were his mates as well as his brothers." Following the news of Jayke's death spreading throughout the community, his friends were quick to pay tribute online and have since organised to gather at Sutton Park in St Helens at 8pm on Monday, November 18.
Tracey told the ECHO how Jayke would have turned 24 on January 30, with the family now havi.
