A grieving dad has set up a fundraiser to give his young daughter who died in a horror house fire the sendoff she deserves. The eight-year-old girl, her mother and sister were pulled from the burned-out remains of a terraced home at Leeds Road, Huddersfield , early in the morning on July 31, after West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue were called to the property at 2.18am.

The service said it sent four fire engines and an aerial appliance to the property, and recovered three people from inside. Paramedics gave the three CPR before they were taken to hospital by Yorkshire Ambulance Service, but it has since been confirmed that the eight-year-old and her mother, who has been named as 31-year-old Danielle Parkinson , both died. The 10-year-old is in critical condition at hospital.

Leeds Live reported that the youngest's father has now set up a fundraiser to celebrate the "short life she lived", stating on GoFundMe that people have wanted to help his family. The heartbroken dad, who wishes not to be named, issued a tribute to his daughter who was "taken far too soon". The dad said: "In loving memory of Iliza who was taken far too soon.

Many people have asked to send me donations so I've created this so if any one would like to contribute or leave any messages your more than welcome. The funds will be contributed to giving my daughter the biggest and most colourful send off to celebrate the short life she lived." The dad added: "Arrangements will be posted once everything's been organise.
